Since its formation in 1985, the organization
has provided chamber music concerts for over 22,000
senior adults residing in assisted living facilities and
retirement communities. Over the past twenty-five
years the ensemble has been performing for a segment of
the senior population that is frequently underserved.
While most senior residential facilities cannot afford
or accommodate a full orchestra or large ensemble, our
mid-sized group provides an excellent fit.
Our purpose is to encourage musical appreciation and
education while providing exposure to a wide
variety of chamber music free of charge.
